Jeremy W. Newman, 43, of Northwood, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly following a medical episode after hitting a grand slam at his softball game. He was born in Toledo, Ohio, on March 26, 1977 to Jerry and Yvonne (Newman) Dickens. Jeremy married the love of his life, Amber on June 27, 2005. He worked at FedEx as a dock worker for almost 10 years. He had many passions in life including; motorcycles, racecars, bowling, hunting, softball, playing poker and weightlifting. He was extremely active and was always staying busy. One thing was for certain though, he hated playing Pass the Trash, probably because he always lost. Jeremy was very protective of those he loved, especially his family. Above all, what was most important to him was spending time with his family who will miss him dearly.
Jeremy is survived by his wife of 15 years, Amber; children, Kayla, Madelyn, Vanessa, Kadence, Jaelynn Newman; grandson, Kayshawn; mother, Vonne Dickens; siblings, Jodi (Ronnie) Urbanski, Jay Adamczewski, Jeff (Melissa) Dickens, Jammie (Tony) Bacon, Jerry (Karen) Dickens; special friends, Marc Soto, Ronnie Urbanski; many nieces, nephews, loving family members, friends; and honorary brother, Ken Newman. He was preceded in death by his sister, Amie Adamczewski and father.
The family will greet friends at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd., Oregon, Ohio 43616 on Sunday, July 5, 2020 from 1:00 pm until the time of Celebration of Life at 6:00 pm.
