Jerry L. Cousino, 69, of Toledo, passed away on March 17, 2013 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. He was born on January 15, 1944 to Glen and Mildred (Hoffman) Cousino. He married his wife Patrica (Brandenburg) in 1996. Jerry was a US Army Veteran (1965-67) and served in Vietnam. He also retired from Cassen'™s Transport and was part of the Teamsters Local 20 for over 30 years. Jerry was also a volunteer fireman for the Oregon Fire Department Station 3. He also enjoyed camping, swimming at Spa, classic cars, being outdoors, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Patricia; his children, Douglas (Doreen Calevro) Cousino, and Kelli (Herb) King; step-children, Holly and John Parker Jr.; and sister Sherry (Dave) Grodi; grandchildren, Doug, Brit, Chelsea, Michael, Morgan, Dylan, Maddy, Macy and 5 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Harold and Glen Cousino, and Delores and Jack Hitts. Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd., on Friday March 22, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 8:00 p.m. Oregon Volunteer Fire Department Last Alarm Services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Private interment will be held at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
