Jerry D. Smith, Sr. of Millbury, ohio passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2003 in Toledo Hospital. Mr. Smith was born in Lyons, Ohio on February 21, 1936 to Charles and Merle (TenEyck) Smith Sr. He had been employed for over 40 years at AP Parts where he worked as a store crib keeper before his retirement in 1994. Jerry was an avid woodworker who enjoyed fishing, gardening and most especially being with his family. Surviving are his loving wife, Eileene; sons, Gordon (Linda), Scott (Barbara) and Jerry D. (Shannon) Smith, Jr.; daughter, Penny Jo (John) Albright Keeler; brother, Clarence (Norma) Smith; sisters, Louise (Don) Wisniewski, Doris Dunn, Carol Post and Donna Nahoney; 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Charles E. Smith, Jr. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 11:00 a.m. in the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Woodville Road Chapel, 1111 Woodville Rd., Millbury, Ohio where visitation will be from 2-9 pm on Sunday.
