Jessie Castilleja, 59, of Toledo, OH passed away on Monday, October 1, 2007 in his home. He was born in Fremont, OH on July 14, 1948 to Jose and Matilde (Barrientos) Castilleja. Jessie was employed as boilermaker and worked at Standard Oil for 17 years retiring in 1987. He was a Golden Gloves Boxing Champ in 1966 & 1967 and coached baseball and boxing for many years. He also enjoyed wrestling and was an avid Cleveland Browns and Indians fan.
Surviving are his sons, Jimi (Nadia) and Jesse; brother, Johnny; sisters, Cruz Garcia, Rosie Ramirez and Annie Montano; grandchildren, Nico, Marissa and Chloe. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Raymond and Martin; sisters, Ninfa, Mary, Josephine and Lupe.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 6, 2007 at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel 1111 Woodville Rd. Millbury, Ohio from 10 am until the time of service at 1 pm. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in Jessie's memory are asked to consider the family.
