December 26, 1941 – November 2, 2023
Jill Kathryn Capser, aged 81, passed away this past Thursday. She was raised in the small town of Oconto, Wisconsin, not far from Green Bay, before settling in Toledo, Ohio, where she built a beautiful life raising three successful sons.
Jill was a dedicated volunteer at Bay Park Hospital, where she selflessly gave her time to help others in need. She was a cherished member of the Bay Park Hospital Ladies Auxiliary, where her contributions made a meaningful impact.
Jill was also an active member of the St. Charles Ladies Auxiliary, contributing to the community through her involvement. In addition, she was a proud member of the Ladies Auxiliary for the Toledo Chapter of the International Ship Masters' Association, finding fulfillment in her membership and the camaraderie it provided.
Jill is survived by her loving husband, Michael S. Capser, with whom she shared 61 beautiful years of marriage, and her brother, Keith Grady. She is also remembered by her three devoted sons: Steve (Sherri), Mark (Cheryl), and Shawn (Shawn), her cherished grandchildren: Valorie, Samantha, Anthony, Cameron, Austin, Shane, and Sheridan, and her beloved great-grandchildren: Riley, Colt, and Skylee.
Jill will be deeply missed by all who knew her, and her memory will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
Visitation will be held at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, Ohio on Monday, November 6, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. until the time of funeral services at 7:30 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in Jill's name may be directed to Elara Caring Hospice or The Gardens of St. Francis.
