Jill Jeanette Newell, 54, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away at her home on August 26, 2014. She was born on October 26, 1959 to Gerald Addison and Norma Jean (Hurst) Newell. She attended Clay High School, worked at the Epilepsy Center as a CNA and did private care taking on the side. Jill enjoyed cooking and gardening in her spare time. She was also an avid animal lover. Surviving are her mother, Norma Jean; sister, Jeri Jean Newell (Cary) Palmer; niece, Mischa Marissa Newell Palmer, from Ballentine, SC; and her loving pet and special friend, Pollyanna. She was preceded in death by her father, Gerald Addison, who passed away in 1991; and grandparents, Howard and Anna Newell and Arch and Doshie Hurst. Family and friends may visit at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, 440 South Coy Road, Oregon, Ohio on Saturday, August 30, from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Inurnment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.
