Jimmie W. Mersing Jr., 58, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on April 27, 2018 at Mercy St. Anne's Hospital. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on April 9, 1960 to Jimmie and Ruth (Hogue) Mersing Sr. Jimmie was an Owner/Operator for his Trucking Company, Jim Mersing Trucking for 35 years. He was an extremely hard working man and always wanted to provide for his family. There wasn't anything that Jimmie couldn't fix. He loved birds, especially his 11 Macaws, but what he loved most was his family and grandchildren. He was a selfless man that meant the world to many and will be deeply missed. Jimmie is survived by his wife of 22 years, Chantel (Jaros); children, Brandon (Sara) Mersing, Cherie (Cassie McElwee) Frazee, Lona (Chris) Katona, Michael (Tiffany Robinson) Frazee; father, Jimmie (Judith) Mersing Sr.; mother, Ruth (Jim Rees) Mersing; grandchildren, Ethan, Jacob, Alex, Joshua, Kayla, Michael, Charlotte, Kenzie, Harper; and 3 siblings. He was preceded in death by 1 brother; and 1 sister. The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 from 2-8 pm. Funeral services will take place in the funeral home on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery
