Jimmie was born in Meadow Bridge, WV on May 2, 1931 to Hobart and Martha Viola (Hedrick) Patterson. He is a Air Force Veteran serving in the Korean War. On March 1, 1952 he married Nova G. (Remley) his high school sweetheart. Jimmie had worked for ConRail Railroad and the former NYC for 33 years retiring in 1986 as a inspector. In his spare time Jimmie enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening, which led him to wininning the Silver Troul Award on Victory Garden. In addition to his wife, Nova, he is survived by his children, Brigitte (Bill) David, Angie (Tim) Wasserman, Jay Patterson, Patrick (Joyce) Patterson, grandchildren, Doug Boos, Kimberly (Ken) Bradford, Kristina, Kassey, Katey, Justin, Jessi, Josh, Aaron, Laine; great grandchildren, Kristopher and Korbin Bradford. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 30, 2004 from 2 until 9 PM in the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Woodville Road Chapel, 1111Woodville Rd., Millbury, OH. There will be no visitation Thursday. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Friday at 1 PM. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.
