Jimmy D. Wilson, 59, of Millbury, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2023. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on January 8, 1964 to James "Billy" and Geneva (Moore) Wilson. Shortly after graduating from Waite High School he married the love of his life, Gayle (Schultz) on August 1, 1986. Jimmy had a passion for wood carving that was passed down from his grandfather to his father and then him. He worked as an Engineer Designer for Walbridge Woodworks for many years. He was self-taught in everything he did and loved trying new things. Jimmy was known in his family for making the best chicken and dumplings. He was a simple man, always wanting to provide for his family. Jimmy always made sure his kids knew that whatever it is they wanted to do in life, to make sure they enjoyed it!

Jimmy is survived by his wife of 36 years, Gayle; children, Justin (Gabby) Wilson, Jerrica (Joey) Moon, Jacob (Courtney) Wilson; grandchildren, Juliana, Maddox, Hadley, Jordan, Wyatt; siblings, Brenda (Richard) Downour, Patricia (Louis) Mies; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd., Oregon, Ohio 43616 on Sunday, January 29, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Monday, January 30, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.
