JoAnn T. Sawyer, 74, of Toledo, Ohio passed away Tuesday, July 03, 2007 at St. Charles Mercy Hospital. She was born in Uhrichsville, Ohio to James and Flora (DellaBona) Carnes. JoAnn was employed at Starr Bakery and GC Murphy's Five & Dime, where she was a strong supporter of Labor Unions. Surviving are her sons, Kevin (Beverly), Keith (Melinda), Kelly (Cheri); daughter, Kathleen (Sebetto) Sawyer; 8 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, brothers, Pat and James (Judy) Carnes; sisters, Jean (Claude) McNeely, Nancy (Dean) Edelman, Verna Rose and Sally (Don) Bradley; JoAnn was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Arthur C.R. Sawyer Jr. Visitation will be held at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Thursday from 2-9 p.m. Memorial services will be held in the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
