Joanna Remley, 71, of Perrysburg, Ohio, passed away on March 4, 2016 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Perrysburg surrounded by her loving family. She was born in San Jose, California on January 14, 1945 to Frank and Phyllis Manuli. She attended Waite High School and worked for various employers before her retirement. Joanna married her husband, Ethan Remley on June 26, 1977. Together they enjoyed going on bus trips to various cities with their group of friends. Joanna enjoyed shopping, cooking and baking. She was a dog lover, a member of the Choraliers and an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan. She enjoyed going to the Horseshoe to cheer them on with her friends. Joanna was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend who will be deeply missed. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 39 years, Ethan; son, Rick Brandeberry; step-son, Rex (Trudy) Remley; step-daughter, Roxane Remley; 7 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Frank Jr. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 6, 2016 from 2-8 p.m. at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road, Millbury. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 7, 2016 where the family will greet friends from 10:00 am until the time of funeral services at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Lake Township Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy in Joanna's name may be directed to Lucas or Wood County Humane Society or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
