Gilliam, 70, of Perrysburg, OH and formerly of Toledo, OH passed away Saturday, October 23, 2004 at Toledo Hospital. Joanne was born on July 8, 1934 in Nevada, Ohio to Stanley and Phyllis (Kissling) Niederhauser and graduated from Clay High School. She had worked for Wonder Bread for 14 years and also worked at the former Bethany United Methodist Church, where she had been a member. Joanne was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Winford Gilliam. Surviving are her children, Benjamin (Karen), Phillip (Jo Ann), Anne (Charles Nichols) Snyder, Charles "Chip" (Michelle), Lenore (Todd) Jennings, Scott (Jennifer), Denise (Marvin) Worst; brothers, Don (Paula), Gary (Theresa), David and Mark (Laurie) Niederhauser; sisters, Sharon (James) Brandeberry, Linda (Dave ) Strawser; 17 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 26, 2004 from 3-9 p.m. at the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon. where services will be conducted on Wednesday at 11 am. Interment will take place in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
