Joanne M. Heuring, 47, of Toledo, OH passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2003 in her home. She was born on April 10, 1956 in Toledo, Ohio to Gerald and Doris (DeSelms) Apthorpe. Joanne was employed with Toledo Hospital as a respiratory therapist for the past nine years. She loved bowling, shopping, camping, collecting Mickey Mouse items and being with family and friends. Surviving are her son, Michael B. Heuring; daughter, Christie J. (Michael) Edmonds; father, Gerald Apthorpe; brother, Gerald (Cynthia) Apthorpe; sister, Julie (Steven) King; grandchildren, Briana and Elsie Edmonds and Michael Apthorpe II; best friends, Kim Zenk and Cathy Metzker; nieces and nephews, Gerald and Jennifer Apthorpe and Steven, Kellsie and Bryce King. She was preceded in death by her mother, Doris Apthorpe. Friends may call at the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, 440 S. Coy Road Oregon, Ohio on Monday from 2 to 9 pm where funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday at 1 pm. Interment will take place in Lake Township Cemetery.
