Joanne A. Kristof, 81, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, June 5, 2021 with her loving family by her side. She was born in Toledo, Ohio, on May 13, 1940 to John and Theresa (Irmen) Rutkowski. Joanne graduated from Central Catholic High School and shortly after would marry the love of her life, Louis Kristof Jr., who would preceded her in death. She worked at First National Bank which later became Fifth Third Bank. She was a member of Holy Rosary and most recently at St. Ignatius Church. Joanne and her late husband enjoyed traveling throughout the country in their pop-up camper setting up camp along the way. After her husband past, her passion for traveling would continue as she traveled with her sisters and her children. She enjoyed going to the casino, playing BINGO, crocheting and needle work. What she cherished most was spending time with her family who will miss her dearly.
Joanne is survived by her children, John (Mary) Kristof, Ron (Kim) Kristof), Lou (Marnie) Kristof, III, Sue (Mike) Rable, Carol (Jeff) Savage; grandchildren, R.J. (Jessica) Kristof, Jake Kristof, Brittany (Ben) Smith, Josh (Melissa) Utter, Taylor Darling, Joey Utter, Molly (Devon) Eckman, J.J. Utter; great-grandson, Griffin Eckman; sisters, Mary Anne (Jerry Murray) Sperry, Janice Dumas, Rosie (Wayne) Humphrey; special brother, Bud Miller; and many other loving family members. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Louis "Big Lou" Jr.
Family and friends may visit Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 South Coy Road on Monday, June 7, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. The family will also greet friends at St. Ignatius Church, 212 N. Stadium Rd., Oregon, Ohio, 43616, Tuesday, June 8, 2021 from 9:00 am until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in St. Ignatius Cemetery.
