Jodi Lynn Cherry, 54, of Clay Center, Ohio, passed away Saturday, October 16, 2021 at her home. Jodi was born March 18, 1967 in Oregon, Ohio to Carl and Sharon (Hugh) Cherry. For over 30 years, Jodi worked in medical billing for Drs. Szymanski & Hasan and later Promedica Health Systems. Her greatest joys were going out to dinner with family and friends, shopping, cheering on the Michigan Wolverines, and spending time with her dogs, Bailey & Bella. Jodi is survived by her father Carl (Jo Ann) Cherry; siblings, Julie Steingraber, Tommy (Cheryl) Cousino, Lorri Jones; niece, Halie Steingraber; nephew, Jacob Steingraber; Tayler (Sean) Allen and Skyler Helmeci; Ella & Kayden Welch; and Aislynn Helmeci; along with many aunts, uncles, loving family members and dear friends. Preceded in death by her mother, Sharon Cherry and grandparents, Richard & Anna Hugh and Stephen & Gloria Cherry. The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road Thursday, October 21, 2021 from 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm where a rosary service will be held at 2:30 pm. Funeral services Friday, October 22, 2021 at 10:00 am in the funeral home.
