JoeAnn Samons, 83, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2013. JoeAnn was born in Watergap, Kentucky to Harry and Mary (Walk) Branham. On June 17, 1947, she married Hezie Samons. JoeAnn was a member of Frey Road Church of Christ. She enjoyed cooking, canning, Bluegrass music and traveling to visit family in eastern Kentucky. Her true passion was reading the bible and spending time with her family. JoeAnn is survived by her son; Jessie (Cindy Sammons); granddaughters, Kimberly (Mark) Runkle and Stacey Sammons; 4 great-grandchildren; and sister, Billie Jean Chandler. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 sisters and 3 brothers. Graveside services will be conducted Monday, April 8, 2013 at 1:30 pm at Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery, Sylvania, Ohio.
