John R. Chechak Jr., 55, of Kingwood, Texas, formerly of Toledo passed away unexpectedly on July 2, 2004 in
Fayette County, Tennessee. John was born on July 7, 1948 in Toledo to John and Rose(Andros) Chechak Sr..
He received a degree in chemical engineering from the University of Toledo and was employed for Englobal
Engineering as a consulting engineer. In his free time he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Surviving are his loving wife of 16 years, Rosie; children, Kevin and Elizabeth; brother, Richard J. (Laura);
sister, Sue A. (James M.) Addis; niece, Willow Addis; sister-in-law, Terry Sticka and brother-in-law, Nelson
(Karen) Sticka. John was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 6, 2004 from 2-9 pm at the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home,
Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon where a scripture service will be held at 7:30 pm. Funeral services
will begin in the funeral home on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. and proceed to St. Thomas Aquinas Church for a
Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 am. Internment will follow in St. Ignatius Cemetery. In lieu of flowers
donations can be made to the Chechak Children Education Fund.
