John A. Cook, of Genoa, OH, passed away on September 11, 2022 at Promedica Toledo Hospital with his loving wife, Sherri by his side. John was born in Toledo, Ohio on August 13, 1965. He graduated from Waite High School and worked at CSX and Clarios for many years. John was passionate about his family. They were everything to him. He was also very meticulous and very knowledgeable with tools. He could build or fix anything.

Surviving is his loving wife of 19 years, Sherri Cook; children, Nicole (Dain), Gerald (Liz), Cody and Cassandra; grandchildren, Arianna, Kailyn, Alyssa, Nevaeh, TJ, Carter; aunt, Linda (John) Matuszwski; Jakob "Junior" Kinniebrew, Joshua Kinniebrew, Michael Puckett, Justin Puckett; nieces, Heather Wiechman, Maara Puckett; cousins, Russell Keener, Richard (April) Hamrick, Sandy Hamrick and Theresa Hamrick. He was preceded in death by his mothers, Erma and Roberta Cook.

Visitation will be held at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Thursday, September 15, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. until the time of a memorial service at 6:00 p.m.
