Obituary

John A. Cooper II died unexpectedly on December 2nd.  He was born August 28, 1959 in Toledo.  He was raised in Oregon and graduated from Clay High School.  Like his Father, he worked at Sun Oil Co. for over 20 years, leaving last December. He was preceded in death by his father, John.  He is survived by and will be dearly missed by his mother, Madge; sons, Randy and Jonathan; daughters, Rachel and Stacy; sisters, Sharon Mostardi (Richard) and Susan Kelley (Kevin).  His best friends Barva, Scott, and Raz shared precious love and friendship with John and they will miss him, too. John appreciated music of all kinds and loved to go to concerts.  He shared this love with his children and often took them to concerts with him.  John took his yearly dream vacation to AuTrain, Michigan, where he went to fish, hike, explore and feel free.  His family started the tradition in 1961, and he and his Father carried it on and shared it with John's children.  These experiences will provide precious memories for his children. Please join us to celebrate his life in pictures and music.  Calling hours will be from 4-8 pm on Wednesday, December 5th, at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road. Funeral services will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church on Thursday, December 6, 2007 at 11 a.m.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to an account set up for his children at Sun Federal Credit Union.
