John H. Cribley, 82, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Monday, February 8, 2010 in the Perrysburg inpatient unit of Hospice of Northwest Ohio. John was born in Erie, Michigan on April 17, 1927 to Fredrick and Dolly (Robbins) Cribley. Mr. Cribley was a US Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of Main Street United Brethren Church in Walbridge. John loved music, especially gospel music and would enjoy singing the old songs with his wife Lucille. He also enjoyed gardening and working in his yard.
Surviving is his loving wife, Lucille (Malson) Cribley; stepchildren, Bill Rodawalt, Kenneth(Sandra) Rodawalt, Rhonda (Bill) Gregg, Vina (Mike) Lloyd, Joe Elias and Richard Elias; 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Jean Cribley; sons, Johnny and Kennison Cribley; stepchildren, Joann Bromm and Glenda Ehmke.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 15 th from 2 to 5 pm in the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road, Millbury where his funeral service will be conducted Tuesday at 11:00 am. Interment will be private. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in John's memory are asked to consider either Hospice of Northwest Ohio or Main Street Church. The family wishes to express their thanks to Hospice of Northwest Ohio Home Care, especially, Carol, Anna, Linda, Stacey, Mark and David who made it possible for us to care for John at home.
