John M. "Mike" Donahue, 73, passed away on September 13, 2016 at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on July 2, 1943 to John T. and Helen (Huss) Donahue. Mike graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1961 and went on to serve in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. He worked for Ford Motor Company for 28 years before retiring in 2003. Mike was an avid Poker player and a huge Detroit Tiger's fan. His true passion was his family and his grandchildren who he considered the loves of his life.
Mike is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Susan; children, Mic (Shelly) Donahue, Shannon (Trey) Griffith, Danielle (Joe) Skillman, Herk, David, Mike (Fran), Matt (Miranda) Watruba; grandchildren, Shelby, Ian, Cameron, Kylee, Cade, McKenna, Riley, Billi, Jyllianna, Ivy, Scarlett, Tess, Eve, Mason; brothers, Terry (Kathy) Donahue, Pat (Karen) Donahue; sisters, Betty Thomas, Janet (Chuck) Donahoe; one great-grandchild on the way; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 siblings; 1 brother-in-law.
