John J. Eisenhauer, 84 of Toledo, passed away peacefully at University of Toledo Medical Center with his family by his side.
John was born in Sandusky, Ohio on August 27, 1939 to Frank and Kathryn (Kreimes) Eisenhauer. He was a United States Navy Veteran. John had retired from Champion Spark Plug after 30 years of service and then went on to drive a school bus for Washington Local Schools for 24 years. He was a member of The Dwelling Place where he served as the treasurer. He was a board member of Sero. He was an avid fan of The Ohio State University Buckeyes. John and his wife enjoyed taking cruises to many locales.
Surviving are his loving wife Brynja Brown-Eisenhauer; children, David (Rhonda) Eisenhauer, Scott Eisenhauer, Terry (Paula) Eisenhauer, Tammy Smith, Kim (Ron Thompson) Brown, Beth (DJ) Griffith, Andrea (Rob) Stuart; 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. John was preceded in death by his parents, infant daughter Sandra, and stepson, Kent Brown.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 31 from 2-8 pm at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon where his funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 1 at 11:00 am. Graveside services will be held on Monday, June 3 at 12 noon at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. 4210 West Central Ave, Toledo, Section I. Memorial contributions may be made to The Dwelling Place, Holland, Ohio.
