Obituary

John F. Evanoff, 71, of Toledo, OH, passed away December 23, 2005 in the Lutheran Village at Wolf Creek, Holland, OH. He was born on March 6, 1934 in Rossford, OH to John and Josephine (Mohon) Evanoff. John was employed as a glass handler at LOF for 23 years retiring in 1980. He was a life long member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church and involved in RCIA and Christ Renews His Parish. John was an advocate in leading others to Christ and was an example of how living his life in a purposeful way was pleasing to the Lord. John was a loving husband to his wife, Marion. He was a caring and giving father to his children and will be missed deeply by many. Surviving are his children, Thomas (Mary) Evanoff, Denise (Jeff) Martin and Renee (Clifton) Lemke; 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. John was preceded in death by his wife, Marion in 1996, parents and brother, George. Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon,Ohio on Monday, December 26, 2005 from 2-9 p.m. where a scripture service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Tuesday at 9:20 a.m. and proceed to Good Shepherd Church for 10 am Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Ignatius Cemetery. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in John's memory are asked to consider Good Shepherd Church. Special thanks to the caring physicians and staff at MUO Hospital, especially Drs. Kimmel, Burket, and Kanjwal. Visitation: Visitation Times 2-9 PM Monday Oregon Chapel
