JOHN R. GLAZIER John R. Glazier, 81, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on June 24, 2003 in Bay Park Community Hospital. He was born October 30, 1921 in Toledo. Mr. Glazier served during World War II in the US Air Force, and was retired from Sun Oil Company, where he worked as a machinist. He was a member of the Catholic War Veterans and was an avid bingo player at both Cardinal Stritch and Blessed Sacrament. Surviving are his daughters, Barbara (John) Brenkman and Shirley (Dennis) Csehi; son, Robert Glazier; sister, Virginia Zbierajewski; grandchildren, Dawn (Carl) Adams, Cherie (Joe) Sexton, Lisa (Doug) Gardner, Scott (Amanda) Brenkman, Becky (Rusty) Fuller, Stacie Glazier, Ryan Glazier; 7 great-grandchildren, Leah and Krista Gardner, Nick, Trent and Tyler Fuller and Joshua and Jordan Sexton. He was preceded in death by his wife, Goldie. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27, 2003 from 2-9 p.m. at the Eggleston-Meinert Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon where funeral services will be conducted on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. Internment will be in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Memorial contributions in John's honor can be made to Bay Park Community Hospital ICU or the Oregon Fire Department.
