John Stephen Gocsik Jr. (Johnny G) passed away quietly on Monday December 14th, 2015. He was born an only child to John Sr. (Butch) and Elinor Gocsik on May 6, 1958. After graduating from Clay High School, John followed in his grandfather's footsteps to become a farmer. John was a longtime vendor at the Toledo Farmer's Market and was active in the Toledo area fruit and vegetable farming community. A proud Hungarian, John enjoyed his involvement in the Calvin United Church helping to make his signature "Kolbasz" several times each year. He was an active member of the VFW 4906, The Loyal Order of Moose, the 14th Ward, and as a Son of the American Legion. John may best be remembered by his friends and family as a self-taught master mechanic, engineer, plumber, and electrician. He leaves behind to grieve his mother Elinor, daughter's Jennifer and Michelle and their mother Bonnie. He was preceded in death by his father John Sr. (Butch) Gocsik and grandparents. You will be missed John.
