Obituary

I am gone with the "Grace of God". I hope to be reunited with my family. Born February 19, 1938, left this world September 6, 2024. I attended St. Thomas grade school, Central Catholic High School, and The University of Toledo. I married Jean Ann Spencer, April 25th, 1959, and we raised 5 daughters together. I was involved in many businesses, I started Johnny's On The Spot Car Wash & Carry Out. I also helped accumulate 296 Acres which is now Eagles Landing Golf Course & subdivision. I was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church.

I am survived by my daughters Jennifer (Doug) Brummett, Janelle (Ken Kozlowski) Bihn, Jodi (Lee) Eckman, Julie (Bob) Henry and Jill (John) Snyder. My grandchildren Troy (Roseanne) Brummett, Torey (Stephanie) Brummett, Tylor (Kacy) Dwornik, Danielle (Tom) Addison, Dayne (Cassie) Bihn, Darah Morrissey, Dana Bihn, Leah (Jonathan) Niese, Devon (Molly) Eckman, Dylon (Matt Hutcherson) Eckman, Ryan (Holly) Eley, Tristin (Kayla) Snyder, Callie (Cole Wieging) Snyder, Easton and Braylon Snyder. My great-grandchildren Logan, Brooks, Baker, Riggins, Lyla, Veyda, Daxton, Wilde, Recker, Ella, Graylee, Tatum, Shea, Tuhlee, Griffin, Corbin and Ransom. My sisters Helen Daney and Jean Newis. I am preceded in death by my wife Jean Hatfield, parents Robert and Ida Hatfield, sister Mary Fandrey and grandson-in-law Max Morrissey. All services are private. Eggleston Meinert & Pavely Funeral Home are assisting the family with arrangements. Memorial contributions can be directed to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or St. Ignatius Catholic Church.
