Obituary

John Kutsch Sr., 58, of Oregon, Ohio passed away suddenly on November 3, 2012 in his home. He was born in Oregon, Ohio on March 21, 1954 to William and Velma (Sabo) Kutsch. John grew up in Oregon, OH and enjoyed boxing, wrestling and other sports. He also participated in musical bands. After high school, John moved to Las Vegas, NV. There he attended Dealer'™s School. He worked in the casinos as a dealer in the games of Black Jack, Roulette, Craps and Poker. John also worked in casinos in Laughlin, NV. He was employed at UTMC as a respiratory therapist for over 15 years. John was a very loving father and a valued co-worker. He was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. John was an excellent wood worker and enjoyed the outdoors, exercising, playing guitar, camping, biking and scuba diving. Surviving are his children, Johnny (Jackalyn Belair) Kutsch Jr. and Jacob Kutsch, and their mother, Jeanne Sullivan; step-son, Shane (Angela) Perley of Flagstaff, AZ; grandchildren, Seth Kutsch, Connor, Avery, Riley, and Sawyer Perley; brother, Larry (Elaine) Kutsch; nephews, David and Brian. John was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be held at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Friday from 2-9 p.m. with a scripture service at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 729 White St., on Saturday at 11:00 a.m., where the family will greet friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. Private interment will be in Lake Township Cemetery. www.eggleston-meinert.com Visitation: Friday, 2:00 - 9:00 p.m. Services: Saturday, 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church Interment: Private in Lake Township Cemetery
