Obituary

John S. Pederi John S. Pederi, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, April 24, 2004 in St. Anne's Hospital. He was born in Toledo, OH to Michael S. and Anna Pederi. John attended St. Stephen's School and graduated from Macomber High School. He was employed as an electrician for 41 years with Jeep before retiring in 1986 and was a member of the Local 12 Jeep Retirees Club. He also served in the US Navy during WWII and suffered a bayonet wound while in the Pacific Theatre. John also held membership and was active with the Maumee Eagles #2562 and their React Club. Surviving are his wife of 18 years, Loretta Mae; son, Michael J. (Mary) Pederi; daughter, Sally Ann (Douglas) Huston; step-sons, Floyd (Jodi) , Lloyd (Pat) and Samuel III (Phyllis) Hammons; sister, Mary Orosz; 2 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; 6 step-grandchildren; 3 step-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mildred J. (Everman) in 1981; parents, and sister, Anna Pearl Yambor. Visitation will be held at the Kinsey Funeral Home, Birmingham Chapel, 2001 Consaul Street, Toledo, OH on Tuesday, April 27, 2004 from 2-9 p.m. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Wednesday at 9:45 a.m. and proceed to St. Stephen Catholic Church for Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
