John C. Rang, 93 of Toledo, OH, passed away on June 17, 2015 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Jack was born on July 29, 1921 to William and Bertha (Raitz) Rang. Jack was a 1940 graduate of Whitmer High School. He was a US Air Force veteran serving during WWII. Jack worked as a Manufacturing Engineer for Sharon Manufacturing for 28 years before retiring in 1983. He was a member of American Legion post #0537, Birmingham VFW Post #4906, and the Maumee Eagles. Jack and his late wife Eunice enjoyed spending their winters in Florida, golfing, fishing, playing cards and being outdoors. Jack is survived by his son, Paul (Mary) Rang; grandchildren, Jennifer (Nick) Otersen, Janel (Marc) Luker; and great-grandchildren, Kaitie and Emily Otersen and Ella and Maya Luker. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Eunice; brothers, William, Donald, Robert; and sisters, Ruth and Dolores. Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Sunday, June 21, 2015 from 1:00 pm – 8:oo pm. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:30 am in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
