John H. Rauhut, 74 of Northwood, Ohio passed away on November 24, 2023 at Orchard Villa in Oregon, Ohio. John was born on February 8, 1949 in Toledo, Ohio to Clarence and Marjorie ( Hassler) Rauhut. He was a graduate of Clay High School, Class of 1967, and Owens Community College. He worked a Food Town for many years. John was also a Lay minister, an Eagle Scout, Mason of Paragon Lodge #788 and Member of UFCW 911.

Surviving is his sister, Pamela (Richard) Gagen; niece, Sarah Donley; and Nephews, Keith and Jeremy Gagen. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held Thursday, November 30, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 South Coy Road. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Friday, December 1 at 10:00 a.m. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in John's memory are asked to consider Clark Street United Church or Hospice.
