John T. Stevens, 69, of Northwood, OH passed away October 15, 2008 at St. Charles Mercy Hospital.  He was born in Toledo, Ohio on June 13, 1939 to John and Norma (Everett) Stevens. John was owner operator of Stevens Trucking for 20 years. He was a member of Northwood Church of God and the Paragon Lodge #788 (32 Degree) in Millbury.   Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Patricia; children, Kimberley Leslie, Brenda Childress, John Stevens Jr. and Tamera (Carl) Thomasson; 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.  Visitation will be held at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd., on Friday, October 17, 2008 from 2-9 p.m. with a Paragon Lodge Service ad 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 10:30 am in the Northwood Church of God, 1838 S. Coy Road. Interment will be in Lake Township Cemetery.  Expressions of sympathy in Johns memory can be made to his family. Visitation: Friday, 2-9 p.m. Services: Saturday, 10:30 a.m.
