John G. Stratidakis John G. Stratidakis, 45, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2003 in St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. He was born on April 30, 1957 to George and Maria (Kreatsoulas) Stratidakis in Greece. John became a US citizen and worked as a painter for Local 7. He was a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, enjoyed fishing and was an avid basketball player. Surviving are his mother and step-father, Maria and John Moshovis; children, George Sr. (Heidi); Katerina, Johnathon; finance, Pam Sullivan; grandson, George, Jr.; brother, Gus (Cindy); sisters, Dora (Tony) Kokolakis, Kelly (Todd) Mercer and numerous nephews and nieces. John was preceded in death by his father, George Stratidakis. Visitation will be held in the Eggleston-Meinert Funeral Home Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Thursday, from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. and on Friday from 2-9 p.m. with a Trisigion Service at 8:30 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church on Saturday, March 22, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in St. Ignatius Cemetery.
