John R. Wallace Jr., 82, of Millbury, Ohio passed away on February 23, 2025 at home in Millbury, Ohio. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on February 10, 1943 to John and Norma (Allen) Wallace. John was happily married to his wife, Mary for 55 years. He worked for Great Lakes Detroit Transmission for many years before retiring. John was a member of Athens Missionary Baptist Church. He was grandmaster mechanic and an expert in bible prophecy.

John is survived by his loving wife, Mary; children, John R. Wallace III, George Wallace, Kimberly Schacht, Ken (Mellissa) Massie and Teri (David) Contreras; 14 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; siblings, Leroy (Deb) Wallace, Barb (Gene) Hudson, Rose Carroll and Norma Jean (Jim) Kirkum; sister-in-laws, Brenda Joseph and Rosie Hammonds; and brother-in-law, Harold (Avon) Watson;

He was preceded in death by  Parents; sister Ruth MacDonald; and beloved son, Mark J. Wallace.

Visitation for family and friends will take place at Athens Missionary Baptist Church, 101 Breckman Street, Walbridge. Ohio on Thursday, February 27 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.
