John Zajacz, 81, passed away on October 25, 2013 at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center. He was born in Timar, Hungary on September 28, 1932 to Mihai and Elizabeth Zajacz. John was a member of the Hungarian Navy and Army. He came to the United States in 1956 and became a citizen in 1964. John worked as a welder at AP Parts for over 30 years. He enjoyed singing in the Hungarian Choir, was a member of the Holy Name Society and an active member of St. Stephen'™s Catholic Church.
John is survived by his loving wife, Anna; children, John, Anne, and Michael Zajacz. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, October 28, 2013 at Epiphany of the Lord Parish, St. Stephen'™s Church, 2018 Consaul St., Toledo at 11:00 a.m. and where the family will greet friends beginning at 9:00 a.m. The Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Those wishing an expression of sympathy in John'™s name are asked to consider Helping Hands of St. Louis. Kinsey-Pavley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
