Jonathan L. Peters, 17, of Toledo passed away at his home on May 4, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on July 7, 1999 to Wayne Rawlings and Trisha Peters. Jonathan loved playing football and video games. In January of this year, Jonathan received an honorary high school diploma from Woodward High School. Jonathan is survived by his father, Wayne Rawlings; mother, Trisha (Stephon) Harvey; brothers, Andrew and Cordell; grandparents, Robin (John Jr.) Peters, , Loretta (Ashby) Rawlings, Jacqueline (Darrell) Coombs; many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Eva (Vernon) Thomas, Edna (Ashby Sr.) Rawlings, Willa Anne (Dennis Sr.) Jenkins and Mary Harvey. Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd. on Friday, May 12, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 6:00 p.m. Memorials may be directed to Jonathan's family.
