Johnny A. Floyd, 47, of Oregon, Ohio departed this life on Thursday, December 25, 2003 in Medical College Hospital. Mr. Floyd was born on April 17, 1956 in Youngstown, Ohio a son of John and Sarah Floyd. He leaves to cherish his memory a loving wife, Delphine Floyd; father, John Floyd; son, John (Trina) Floyd of Oregon, daughters, Chivonn Floyd of Oregon and Sgt. Candice Floyd of Virginia; grandchildren, Amtheyst Floyd and Denise Carter, his brothers and sisters and a host of nieces and nephews. Friends may call in the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home where visitation will be Monday from 2 to 5 pm. Additional visitation and funeral services will be held in Black, L.E.Phillips & Holden Funeral Home, 1951 McGuffy Street, Youngstown, Ohio beginning with visitation Wednesday, December 31st at 10:00 am with funeral services starting at 11:00 am. Interment will be in Tod Homestead Cemetery in Youngstown. The family suggest memorial contributions in Johnny's name be made to the American Heart Association.
