Jose "Pepe" Magana, 53, of Toledo, Ohio went with the Lord on Friday, January 8, 2016 after battling cancer. Jose was born on February 24, 1962 in Boyton Beach, Florida to Refugio and Carlata Magana. He was employed at L.E. Savory Tree Service for 23 years. Jose leaves behind his wife, MaryLou, of 22 years; daughter, Bernice Magana; step-son, J. Alex Rosales Sr.; 9 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; mother, Carlata Magana; siblings, Juanita, Nellie, Hilda, Olivia, Ellie, Bartzer, Rolando and Robert. He was preceded in death by his father and brothers, Refugio Jr., Mario and Armando. Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd., on Monday, January 11, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 3:00 p.m. Private interment will take place. A special thanks to Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg for their care during his last days and much support from family and friends. He will be greatly missed.
