Jose G. Miranda, 87, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away on July 18, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Jose was born in Houston, Texas on October 6, 1930 to Mariano and Eulalia (Guillen) Miranda. He worked as a lineman for Hydromatic before retiring after 28 years of service. He loved fishing, Mexican music and dancing as well as his furry companion "Kilo." He enjoyed his occasional Budweiser, working in his flower and tomato garden, but most of all spending time with his loving family who will miss him dearly. Jose is survived by his daughters, Debra Miranda, Susan Dianda; grandchildren, J.Michael (Megan) Dianda, Alissa Miranda, Jordan (Heather) Dianda; great-grandchildren, Jo-el Escobar, Maddox, Lena, Marchal, Jackson, Lucy Dianda; siblings, Petra Morales, Daniel (Maggie) Miranda, Jessie Miranda, Mary Salinas and Gloria Diaz. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Richard Miranda; sisters, Annie Miranda and Nora (Cruz) Padilla.; sister-in-law, Carlotta Miranda; and brothers-in-law, Tomas Morales and Manuel Diaz. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at the Epiphany of the Lord Parish- St. Thomas Parish, 729 White St., Toledo, Ohio, 43605 from 10:00 am until the time of memorial mass at 12:00 pm.
