Joseph Baranski, 84, of Perrysburg, Ohio, passed away peacefully, Saturday, October 14, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. Joe was born July 16, 1939 in Toledo, Ohio to Stephan and Stella (Klimczak) Baranski. He met his loving wife Gail in 1998 and were married June 24, 2004. Joe worked as a millwright for Plaskon Corporation and retired from Chrysler Corporation in 2003. In retirement, Joe, enjoyed playing volleyball, tennis, and pickleball. He was an accomplished woodworker and glass blower, crafting many beautiful pieces.
Joe is survived by his wife Gail; children, Tim (Brenda) Baranski, Gregg (Melanie) Baranski, and Jaime (Gabriel) Baranski; Gail's children, Sarah (Eddie) Avina and Rachel Hastings; grandchildren, Bryon (Sonya) Baranski, Jade (Amanda) Baranski, Taylor (Jon) Scherling, Tanner Baranski, Shelby Baranski, Logan Baranski, and Carlie Baranski; Gail's grandchildren, Alex and Ariana Avina; great-grandchildren, Brandon, Cooper, Macie, Jackson, Addie Mae, Elliot, and Atlas; former wife Rita Mary Baranski; sister-in-law, Jean Baranski; along with many loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Ted, Chester, Edward, Pauline, and Wanda.
The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road Saturday, October 21, 2023 from 12:00 pm until funeral service at 4:00 pm. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to a charity of the donor's choice.
