Joseph Bochi, 90, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, surrounded by loved ones. Joe was born in Toledo, Ohio on September 16, 1927 to Andrew and Katherine (Priscsak) Bochi. Joe was a veteran of the United States Army during the Korean War. He was employed with Jeep for 40 years. On February 8, 1968 he married the love of his life, Marian Thomas. Joe is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Marian; daughter, Melodie (Rick) Hamilton; granddaughter Laura (Al) Longoria; grandson, Ricky Joe (Kaisha) Hamilton; great-grandchildren, Nathan, Amica, Rheya, Persephone, and Lexi; along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 sisters; and a brother. The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 from 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm. The funeral mass will be celebrated Thursday, December 14, 2017 at 11:00 am in Epiphany of the Lord Parish- St. Stephens Church, 2018 Consaul Street, Toledo, where the family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery. Memorials may be directed in the form of contributions to Epiphany of the Lord Parish.
