Joseph M. Collum, 86, of Northwood, OH passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2007, in St. Charles Mercy Hospital. Joe was born on April 26, 1920, in Oregon Township to Joseph S. and Elsie (Matthews) Collum. Mr. Collum was a graduate of Clay High School and an Army veteran of World War II. He was employed as an over the road truck driver for his entire life, retiring in 1980. Mr. Collum was a member of the Teamsters Local 20 and Christ Dunberger American Legion Post. Surviving are his loving wife, Laura; children, James J. (Linda) Collum and Connie (Ken) Billmaier and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Clyde. Visitation will be held for Mr. Collum on Monday, January 8, 2007, from 2 to 9 p.m. in the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road at Starr Ave.. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday at 1 p.m. Interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park.
