Joseph V. Imre, 85 of Toledo passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2009 in Orchard Villa Nursing Home. Joseph was born in Toledo on September 13, 1923 to Gabriel and Mary (Farkas) Imre. He was a 1942 graduate of Central Catholic High School . Mr. Imre was employed as a glass worker for 40 years at the Libbey Owens Ford Glass Company. Joe enjoyed golfing and bowling. Surviving are his brothers, Gabriel Imre Jr. and Elmer (Rosemary) Imre. He was also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Suzanne. Visitation will be held Monday, July 27, 2009 in the Kinsey Funeral Home, 2001 Consaul Street , from 2-9 pm. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday beginning in the funeral home at 9:30 am and will proceed to St. Stephen Church for the Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 10:00 am. Entombment will be in Calvary Mausoleum. Memorial contributions in Joe's memory may be made to St. Stephen Church. Visitation: Monday, July 27, 2-9 p.m. Services: Tuesday, July 28, 10:00 a.m.
