Joseph A. Kepes, 88, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Saturday, July 19, 2014, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, surrounded by his loving family. Joe was born in Toledo, Ohio, on February 1, 1926 to Joseph and Anna (Schwab) Kepes. For many years, Joe worked on the assembly line at GM Powertrain. His hobbies included playing pool, dancing, and visiting his favorite casinos. He was a lifelong member of St. Stephens Catholic Church. Joe is survived by his daughters Ann (Thomas) Dillon Sr., and Karen Kepes; grandchildren, Thomas (Joann) Dillon Jr., Daniel Dillon, Coral (Brandon) Ketcham, and Tyler Kepes; 4 great-grandchildren, and sister, Mary Kepes. He was preceded in death by his parents. Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 from 2:00 pm '" 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at 10:30 am in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
