Joseph A. Mercurio Jr., 74, of Toledo, Ohio passed away March 1, 2008, in the University of Toledo Medical Center. He was born on May 5, 1933, to Joseph Sr. and Priscilla (Gall) Mercurio. Joseph was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War and attended Calvin United Church of Christ. He was employed by Libbey Owens Ford as a glassworker for over 40 years retiring in 1995. Joseph is survived by his daughters, Diane Mercurio and Valerie (James) Hemmes; son, Michael (Shelly) Mercurio; grandchildren, Crystal and Alexander. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Carolyn and brother, Robert Mercurio. Friends and family may visit the Kinsey Funeral Home, 2001 Consaul Street, on Monday from 2-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Willow Cemetery.
