Joseph H. Skrepenski Jr., 78, of Oregon, Ohio passed away October 29, 2008 at Heartland of Oregon. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on February 9, 1930 to Joseph Sr. and Evelyn (Vohs) Skrepenski. Joe retired from Toledo Edison, and was an 8 year Army veteran. While in the Army, he also was a boxer and took the title of a Heavy-Lightweight Champion.   Surviving are his best friend, Meaghan Gasser and her children, Alex and Alyssa; sister, Betty Fulk; brothers, Don (Ruth), Al (Mitzie) and Bob Skrepenski; and many nieces and nephews. Joe was preceded in death by his parents and brother, James Skrepenski.   There will be no visitation. Graveside services will be held at North Oregon Cemetery on Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. Memorial contributions can be made the Feed Lucas County Children, Inc.   Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, is assisting the family with arrangements.
