Joseph W. Thornsberry, 73, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2020. He was born in Toledo, Ohio to Joseph and Elizabeth (Wetzel) Thornberry in Toledo, on May 28, 1947. Joe loved umpiring for Little League softball, and spending time with his great nieces. He was an active member of AA for 20 years, and was an avid pool player; competing in many pool tournaments. Joe is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sheila Thornberry; sisters, Catherine Dusseau, and Joanne Burgess; nieces, Robin Dusseau, Donna (Robert) Kamann, Shelly (Jim) Rieger, Bridget Burgess; Nephew, Jimmy Dusseau; great nieces, Natalie and Sarah; as well as many other great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and nephew, Danny Desseau. Private Services will be held at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley.
