Josephine Swedren, 84, of Genoa, Ohio, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2017. Josephine was born in Clay Center, Ohio on September 6, 1933 to Andrew and Mary (Spisak) Swedren. She was employed with the Department of Defense as an administrative assistant for 40 years. Josephine is survived by her sister, Tillie (Roy) Bauman along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Mary Tokar, Margaret Busdeker, and Agnes Swedren; and brothers, Albert and Steven Swedren. The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 204 S. Main Street Genoa from 10:00 am until time of funeral mass at 11:00 am.
