Josephine B. Velliquette, 89, of Genoa, Ohio, formerly of East Toledo, passed away Saturday, June 1, 2013. Josephine was born on March 18, 1924 in Toledo, Ohio to Stanley and Pauline (Wojton) Rejneak. On November 21, 1940, she married Donald Velliquette. Josephine worked as a clerk with JC Penney for 13 years, retiring in 1985. Josephine was active in the Christian Women'™s Connection and the Maumee Bay Quilt Guild. She was a member of Heritage Christian Church where she was active in the women'™s club. Josephine is survived by her children; Dick (Connie), Don (Vicki), David, Dale, and Dawn (Tim) Fox; 15 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; son, Daniel; granddaughter, Suzette Velliquette; brothers, Albert Chaise and John Cozy; and sisters, Mary Hirsch, Wanda Dobes, Stella Sherman, and Helen Leonard. Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 from 2:00-8:00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at 10:00 am in the funeral home. Interment will follow at North Oregon Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
