Joyce D. Baird, 80, of Perrysburg, Ohio passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at her home. She was born in Princeton, West Virginia January 28, 1942 to Paul and Gussie (Pennington) Shrader. Joyce worked many years an assembler with Champion Spark Plug. Her hobbies included: bowling, crocheting, crafts and working puzzles. She loved to cheer on the Detroit Red Wings and spend time with her family and friends at her favorite casinos. Joyce is survived by her longtime companion, Boyd Smith; daughters, Pam (Stephen) Contos and Paula Meeks; grandchildren, Christi Jo, Alexis, Jessika (Sammy Jo), Robert (Amber) and Erin (Dereck); great-grandchildren, Maddyson, Camron, Lenna Joy, Kristofer, Karma, Korbin, Jupiter and Triton; step-sons, Rusty Smith & Rodney Smith along with eight siblings; and numerous nieces, nephews, loving family members and friends. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edgar Baird; and daughter Deana Meeks. Private services were held. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to Goodwill Industries.
