Joyce M. Belcher, 88, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on October 9, 2023 at Luther Ridge in Oregon. She was born February 11, 1935 in Bowling Green, Ohio, to Alva and Lillian (McKibben) Coger. She graduated from Libby High School in 1954. She married her high school sweetheart, on December 29, 1954, Esker Grant Belcher. She was a brownie leader in the early 1960's and worked at Sylvania Savings Bank for several years. She helped her husband with his auctions and worked at Sears for 11 years, before retired in 2005.

Joyce was her husband's caregiver for several years after he had his stroke. They loved to travel and went every year to Las Vegas, Nevada. This was their favorite place to vacation. She started to volunteer in 2003 at Lutheran Home at Toledo, where she eventually managed the gift shop She worked many special events over the years and was the official dessert cutter.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Stepfather, Ura Mckibben; brothers, Ollie Coger, Clinton Coger and Allen Coger; and Sister Jean Bookenberger; She is survived by her daughters, Deborah Potcova (Oregon, Ohio), Wendy Rausch (Albuquerque, New Mexico, Kelly Belcher Cogswell (Averil Welch) (Toledo, Ohio); ;grandchildren, Tanya (Kelly), Thomas (Laura), Matt, Amy and Tiffany; great grandchildren, T.J., Jewels, Lillian, Grant, Madisen Marie, and Liam Grant.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 18 at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 3:00 p.m. A Luncheon will follow Luther Ridge.
